Being an artist is full of surprises — including surprising yourself. I never imagined I’d be so drawn to painting a bird’s nest! But when I stumbled on this real robin’s nest (complete with those gorgeous blue eggs) at an antique shop, I couldn’t resist. There was something so tender and natural about it, I had to try to capture its quiet beauty. I love how it brings a sense of innocence, rebirth, and simple wonder — a perfect nod to spring.
