This joyful little landscape was painted from a summery photo reference shared by one of my online students, and I just couldn’t resist. Bright coral poppies swaying in the breeze, little white flowers dotting the path. It’s like a scene from a dream. Painting this reminded me that art doesn’t always have to be serious to be meaningful. Sometimes, a cheerful stroll through a flower garden is exactly what the soul needs- it was certainly what mine needed that day. A reminder to have fun and play!
