I literally gasped when I saw this still life unfold before me. It felt like a rhapsody of swirling light and color. The unusual hue of the tapestry paired so beautifully with the antique English Staffordshire pitcher. It created an elegant harmony that stopped me in my tracks. This is hands down one of my favorite floral paintings of the year. Proof that a painting doesn’t have to be large in size to feel grand. I especially loved capturing the rhythm and movement of the leaves and petals as they danced across the surface and the delicate coloring of the cloth.
