I painted Wildflowers out in nature, letting color and loose brushwork guide me. Yellow wildflowers against a soft lavender-blue sky—there’s something about that contrast that feels joyful, unexpected, alive. I wanted to capture the breezy energy of blossoms dancing in breeze, the ephemeral moment when the sky is just alive enough to lean lavender, just soft enough to let yellow pop.
