An original oil painting of a still life on linen.

I’ve always been inspired by the Dutch Old Masters works. This painting shows that inspiration well. The rich layered texture and the aged patina of the copper pot with the luxurious white satin topped with an abundant bowl of citrus all came together for a rich and atmospheric space. I added in the fall bittersweet for a touch of the delicate and the large Delft vase stands behind graceful and elegant.
