Union Square in summer is alive. I painted this on location right in the middle of the bustling farmers market—dodging sunburns, swatting mosquitoes, and soaking up the energy of the city all at once. I was drawn to the movement of people flowing through the square, the pops of color from vendor tents, and the feeling of being swept into the city’s rhythm. This painting is my attempt to bottle up that moment—vibrant, alive, and full of flavor.
