The leaves had just started to change as the air grew chilly when she plucked the first apples from the tree. Some of the last late summer blossoms held on the warmth that was left. The change was just beginning. It wasn’t in those moments that she felt sad but hopeful. In the true fashion of the beginning of harvest, all things in life reach their maturity. It is through the abundance, prosperity, and wealth where she too would reinvent herself.
