There’s something timeless and irresistible about a traditional Dutch-style still life. This piece was my pièce de résistance this summer! Filled to the brim with glimmering glass, citrus, old-world vessels, and a red tapestry that feels straight out of a Vermeer painting. It’s abundance, drama, and light at its very best. I loved every minute of painting it and capturing the intricate details while keeping it fresh and painterly in my alla prima style.
