Ginger Jar and Apples

The richness of light and thick atmosphere is ever elusive and compelling to me as an artist. Ordinary everyday objects transcend their reality when viewed through the right eyes. The aged quality of this cherry blossom ginger jar is always a joy to capture on the panel. I paired it with a brilliant red in the apples. Eucalyptus leaves were placed dancing over the pair.
