I titled this painting Oriental Abundance because it feels overflowing with richness and life. A tall oriental vase with blue-and-coral patterns rises behind Chinese lanterns, while a large copper pot spills mandarin oranges and green and purple grapes across the canvas. Painting in oils allowed me to explore light, shadow, and the glowing vibrancy of color, giving this still life a sense of warmth, generosity, and celebration. This is a painting about abundance—color, texture, and the joy of plenty.
