I painted Shoreline at Low Tide on one of those days where the horizon feels endless and the world slows down. The tide had slipped back, leaving glistening patches of sand and calm ripples of water that mirrored the sky. I love how painting the shoreline is like painting a pause—it’s the earth exhaling, the sea at rest.
With oils, I built soft transitions of light and shadow to capture that fleeting glow on the water. This piece is my reminder that beauty is found in the quiet moments between tides, when you can breathe deeply and feel connected to something vast.
