This one captures the quiet before the chaos. I was set up early—right at sunrise—just as the city began to wake. The street vendor’s cart caught the golden light perfectly, and even though he insisted I owed him money for painting his hot dog stand (ha!), I couldn’t resist. It’s such a classic New York moment. There’s something deeply poetic about the way the light hits the grit and charm of this city. I’ll never forget it.
