I will never get tired of painting sunflowers. They’re like nature’s joy on a stem — big, bold, and full of life. In this painting, I chose a bright, high-key background to let the golden petals take center stage. It reminds me of skipping through a summer field, chasing butterflies, and soaking up sunshine. One of my most cheerful still lifes — it’s hard not to smile when you look at it.
