Who knew that painting olives and cheese could be as satisfying as eating them? I didn’t—until this. Inspired by the old master Chardin and the joy of a good snack, this was my first time painting a jar of olives, and I was surprised by how much fun it was. The cheese wedge, a few grissini, and that glossy glass jar brought the whole scene to life. I could almost hear the clink of wine glasses nearby.

This little still life brings a rustic, European charm—perfect for foodies, collectors, and anyone who believes a table set with good food is a work of art in itself.
