When I draped this turquoise cloth behind the antique English pewter pitcher, I knew I was in for a challenge — but I had to paint it! The color combination was just too delicious. I loved capturing the interplay of silvery shine, translucency, and rich texture. From the cool glint of pewter to the juicy cantaloupe and delicate seaglass. It’s one of those paintings where you can feel both the calm and the complexity at once.
