Selling your art online doesn’t have to be so hard.

Are you ready for a challenge to double your painting sales online in 31 days?

Are you tired of not selling paintings? Well, three years ago I was in your shoes too. It’s incredibly discouraging to have no one want your beautiful work.

Picture it: September 2017. I’m sitting at my computer in my studio wondering what I could do to bring in some income. The six galleries I was in weren’t selling anything and had sold very little of my work the prior year. Two of them, including the Colorado gallery my work was in, had told me they were closing up shop due to financial reasons. My income kept decreasing year after year in my six years as an artist. Meanwhile, the $100,000 in student loan debt wasn’t decreasing.

I had just moved to Denver leaving all my past students and collectors behind. I knew that they would stop supporting me in time. Outta sight, outta mind. I had shopped around at some of the few galleries in the Colorado region and bupkis. No one was interested in representing my gorgeous work. Everyone had the same story. “We have a still life artist already, or we’ve got too many artists to represent.

I knew I was at a crossroads. The old way of being in galleries and shows wasn’t working for me anymore. I was losing faith and hope. I was discouraged and giving into beliefs like, “Well no one ever said it would be easy to be an artist. No one likes traditional art anymore. You can’t do what you love and make money too.”

But you see I’ve got this sort of stubbornness in me. So I felt sorry for myself for a while, but then I thought this is the 21st century for crying out loud! I have access to billions of people online! I can figure this out. I realized that I don’t have to be dependent on the gallery system. I also don’t need to schlepp all my art around like a traveling gypsy to different shows just to twiddle my thumbs all day and not sell a thing.

I had faith that doors close for a reason (after some temper tantrum throwing of course). I believe that God, the universe, destiny – pushes us in the right direction whether we like it or not. We whine, complain, and sometimes even quit on our dreams because of this. Meanwhile, the unseen force is saying to you, “I want you to go this way. Hello! Are you listening to me? I know what I’m doing.

It’s hard to have faith in going another direction. Especially when so many others aren’t. It’s easy to quit thinking it’s our fault and that we’re just not good enough.

“When one door closes another door opens; but we often look so long and so regretfully at the closed door that we do not see the one which has opened for us.” – Alexander Graham Bell

So I began an education adventure in 2017 in learning how to sell my art on my own. Over the next three years, I spent at least $20,000 on courses and private coaching with business and entrepreneurial teachers. I learned how to get out of my own way and get over all my limiting beliefs around selling art.

Last year I sold more art online than all my six years combined working with galleries. I’m not joking.

Am I saying it’s easy? Well, it’s not as impossible as you might think that’s for sure. Does it take time to build towards that kind of revenue? Yeah, it’s taken me three years to do it. But I can tell you that if I had spent three more years trying to build revenue in the gallery and show system, I would’ve had to go get a job to support myself and give up art.

Do you have to be a tech genius? No, you don’t. I wasn’t. I’m still not. BUT you do have to be willing to try, grow, and learn little by little.

Here’s what I know to be true. We live in the greatest time for selling art! Artists can and should be some of the most financially abundant people on the planet too. We’re doing work that’s lifting and healing hearts and souls.

So why am I writing this? Well after three years of studying from a lot of teachers, spending a ton of money, and learning by trial and error in the trenches – I’m ready to help other artists succeed in selling their art online too.

This is my very first course and challenge and I’m SO stoked to help other artists become more financially abundant! I’ve taken everything I’ve learned and put it on super simple steroids, cutting out all the fluff and complications so that artists can get results FAST.
